I am director of Circle of Friends Camp at Camp Gilmont, a weekend retreat for families with children with disabilities. This camp is a gift to these families, with lodging and meals provided. Trained volunteers care for all the children during the day, giving the parents/caregivers a much-needed rest.
We offer this camp three times a year: Memorial Day weekend, August, and Labor Day weekend. All 3 camps are full at this time, but to get on the waiting list, contact me. (See my contact page.) If you'd like to volunteer, contact me. Volunteers must go through our training before taking part in any camp. If you'd like to know how to start your own Circle of Friends Camp, send me your address, and I'll mail you our booklet.
