MINISTRY OPPORTUNITY IN EAST TEXAS ~ CIRCLE OF FRIENDS CAMP
PLEASE PRAY FOR OUR CAMPS AS WE MINISTER Charlotte is director of Circle of Friends Camp at Camp Gilmont, a weekend retreat for families with children with disabilities. This camp is a gift to these families, with lodging and meals provided. Trained volunteers care for all the children during the day, giving the parents/caregivers a much-needed rest. This camp is offered three times a year: Memorial Day weekend, August, and Labor Day weekend. All 3 camps are full at this time, but to get on the waiting list, contact Charlotte. (See contact page.) If you'd like to volunteer, contact Charlotte. Volunteers must go through our training before taking part in any camp. If you'd like to know how to start your own Circle of Friends Camp, send me name and address to receive a booklet guide.
